“I love this show and I also love Sanrio too. Like Shunsuke (Shushu) I love Hello Kitty, and like Ryo I love Little Twin Stars. But I also love Pekkle the Duck, Pochacco the Pup and Monkichi the Monkey. I didn't think of this series as any commercial or whatever. But I like that it shows people need a a group to truly express themselves in, in order to feel comfortable with themselves.I do love how they all have stories behind why our male leads love the characters they like. Kouta's backstory almost had me crying; though I never cry at sad scenes. Overall, all I have to say is that this anime series is another favorite series with a message that is never "in-your-face." Like I'm thirty-five years old, and I still love cartoons and characters that said to be meant for kindergarteners, and there's not shame in it. Also I really wish the series in on North American DVD.”
