Sinopsis
“Gong Seul Ki (Lee Joo Young, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo) is an elementary school music teacher. In a past life, she was once an underground hip hop artist. Today, her life is immensely boring. To enliven the school environment, she breaks with classical rules and teaches her students the art of hip hop. Kim Yoo Bin (Kim Yura, Girl's Day, To the Beautiful You) is a new contract English teacher. She joins the same school and accompanies Gong Seul Ki's journey to bring some life into education. Together, the two ladies navigate the perils of teaching and even a bit of romance as they teach their students that even school can be fun when your teacher is hip. Also known as "A Hip Teacher," Hip Hop Teacher is directed by Shim Na Yun. The series originally streamed on Naver TV Cast from August 14, 2017 to August 25, 2017 at 7:00AM daily, with a subsequent run on jTBC from October 03, 2017 to October 31, 2017, airing two episodes back-to-back at 9:00PM every Monday.”
